Service Contracts

Our commitment to the customer does not end with the installation of a product...

Wessex has many years experience in designing, manufacturing, installing and maintaining products that aid mobility. These include through floor lifts, hoists, stairlifts and platform lifts. We offer a full range of service contracts which are designed to give the correct level of maintenance as recommended by British Standards and additional peace of mind to prevent or cover unexpected breakdowns.

The Cover Our Contracts Provide

Extended Warranty

Includes recommended services each year, call out charges and parts. Available for 3 or 5 years giving comprehensive cover for total peace of mind. Requires one single payment within 30 days of installation.

Gold Service Contract

Includes recommended services each year, call out charges and parts. Renewable annually (or longer by agreement). Flexible payment terms. Available for Wessex manufactured and installed products up to 5 years old.

Silver Service Contract

Includes recommended services each year and call out charges (parts charged extra). Renewable annually (or longer by agreement). Flexible payment terms. Available for Wessex manufactured products, installed by Wessex trained engineers.

Bronze Service Contract

Includes recommended services each year (call out charges and parts charged extra). Maintenance cover at competitive prices, renewable annually (or longer by agreement). Flexible payment terms, either in advance or after the service visit.

Wessex has 40 years experience in the fields of innovation, design, manufacture and maintenance. Our national team of engineers are therefore highly skilled and very capable. They have a range of different skill sets and can maintain equipment from many different manufacturers.

Service Contracts are also available to organisations responsible for overseeing the maintenance of many products in various locations. Increasing numbers of Local Authorities are choosing Wessex to provide their maintenance as they realise the importance of a professional service at an affordable price.

Why do I need a service contract?

Wessex products are manufactured to a very high standard, meeting the requirements stipulated by both European and British Standards. However, as with all electro-mechanical equipment, our products do require regular maintenance to ensure that they are kept in good working order. Some parts, for example, will need replacement due to normal wear and tear, although we do our utmost to prevent this from happening. During service visits, our engineers will look for things that are out of place and things that might be due for replacement. That is why all Wessex Service contracts include recommended programmed preventative maintenance service visits each year, carried out by Wessex trained engineers.
